CRAWFORDSBURN
Go Run NI is a running community-focused network created by Athletics NI, which aims to support runners and Run Leaders within Northern Ireland to bring them together in a fun and supportive environment.
I knew there was an interest in Crawfordsburn and the surrounding areas to get like minded females together, offering support, encouragement and most importantly having a bit of craic in the process.
I'm absolutely delighted with the turnout for our launch run onMonday 1st September with 19 ladies of all mixed abilities but with one vey common interest, to get out doors and have a good time.

About Me
Julie is a passionate fitness enthusiast with over 15 years experience in the fitness industry as a certified fitness and kettlebell instructor, pre and post natal coach and personal trainer. Julie is a former British Athletics competitor and has competed internationally in adventure racing, equestrian and multi day mountain bike stage racing across Europe.
She's a proud mum of 2 and founder of Belles Fitness which has now grown to become the newly exciting rebranded Julie Beckett Functional Fitness. With this new venture Julie is dedicated to giving you the tools to empower yourself to find your 'INNER ATHLETE' and help build the best version of yourself

I started going to Julie 3months ago to supplement the strength and conditioning classes that I was already doing twice a week. Julie listened carefully to my needs and goals and created a bespoke plan accordingly. What I love, is her ability to change each workout as necessary, there and then: I chat with her at the beginning of the session as to how my fitness week has gone and my (what seem to be always) changing goals!!! She is great at poking my competitive nature and pushing me to achieve personal bests. Julie’s workouts are fun and varied and always leave me feeling much better than I went in (my session is first thing Monday morning, so I’m sure you can imagine how that goes….) What is also great is Julie knows exactly how “real life” happens and how to make sure your fitness programme is achievable and sustainable . Julie has great knowledge and enthusiasm and I would highly recommend her, whether you are a total beginner or have more experience.

I attended Belles bootcamp several years ago and loved it, so I was delighted when Julie started this venture and so I restarted my fitness journey 6 weeks ago.
In this short time I can already feel such a difference. My backpain has gone and my shoulders feel like they’re sitting back where they should be after years of hunching over at work.
Julie is very knowledgeable about all things fitness as she has loads of personal experience and her passion is obvious.

The at home workouts have been realistic whilst pushing me on to become stronger. The app has been very easy to use on my phone. I get a reminder when my workout is due, there are videos to remind me of what each task involves and a handy timer for managing the reps. I can give feedback on what I thought and Julie uses this to tailor future workout plans. The accountability element has definitely made me make time to fit in my workouts.
I highly recommend Julie. She’s approachable, friendly, motivating and somehow makes it all very fun!
